This is a unique move to provide the better health care facilities in the remote villages of Mahishali BPHC of Murshidabad & Sandeshkhali RH at North 24 Pgs. district. The State Government has set up a waiting hut for pre – care attendance 8-10 days before the delivery date for pregnant women having bedding facilities. There is infrastructure available so that the expectant mothers from far off villages can come here for health checkups where they will be fed nutritious foods. The State health department in assistance with National rural health mission has played a major role in the construction of the new waiting hub in which the poor patients from the remote areas in given appropriate pre-delivery care.
